These pictures are beyond gorgeous and I found them soothing and romantically inspiring. When softening up your decor or wardrobe a little strand of pearls, a peek of feathers or a beautiful bow goes a long way.

I’ve now moved on to my bedroom from my other little side projects and yesterday I decided to tackle my jewelry. I found this wrought iron rack that USED to be brown, in my garage and decided to give it a fresh coat of paint. Voila …  makes a perfect place to store some of my necklaces!

These are the ones I wear most often, if I put all of them out I would need about 20 of these.  lol

How glamorous can they go? Obviously these designers don’t know their boundaries!

The first look above is served up to us by non other than Dolce & Gabbana. When this look was released on Thursday for their SS11 show, I was one of the first in line to take a peek. I loved it so much and had to thank Mr. Gabbana himself. I tweeted unmercifially ” Oh Stephano I so love this, I must have it,” and to my surprise he tweeted back!

As I drooled at my desktop, over the impeccable tailoring of this suit I longed for the day where I had a place to wear it to. Days like this make me miss my old life.

But, on a brighter note, I DID after-all get to tweet with the master designer himself.  : )

The suit below is by Ruffian, a label I’m not so familiar with, but their designs as I am discovering are incredible.

Some designers just have a LOOK and doesn’t this one! Why it’s Prabal Gurung of course.  Amazing ….

 This room was so much fun to do! Obviously my style, right? Deep purple walls, crystal columns and white furniture. A dream is made.

A few finishing touches still to be done, but overall we definitely achieved the look we were going for.

I’ve been discussing incessantly my mad decorating projects lately and here is another one! Since my daughter Jaime recently bought her new home and I recently moved as well, we’ve been busy bees getting the homes put together.

Two ten foot columns flank the bed for a stunning look. At the top of the columns are remote control lights, which when turned on give off the most amazing glow. The purple radiates through the crystals, it’s absolutely magical!  I also adorned the window with crystal curtains to keep the effect going. And the topper above the bed is feathers, yep, feathers. Boa’s make such a dreamy look in a bedroom. And when you’re going for GLAM, why not go all the way!

 Mad shopping skills this weekend. All of the above was purchase at Z Gallerie. The green crystal flowers have now found a lovely spot in my living room. And the insanely bright diamond reflective vase and crystal candle sticks are for my dining room table!

While taking a picture of another project, I found this was the best pic I had of the table. If you look closely at the rim of the table you will see the crystals! Just a thin line on the outer corner, just enough bling to make the table pop!

Here is another angle, although I have out my lamp project! Haha

Still haven’t found the chairs I want, as I am looking for just the right ones! Remember these below that I found a picture of? They are from the House of Dior and I am determined to duplicate them!

A little pink and orange inspirations for your Wednesday. I have been a long time fan of these Brian Atwood pumps. While saving up to purchase them I came across this Alexander McQueen Wool Crepe dress. Wow is all I can say, color blocking at it’s finest!

But before you crush your budget, maybe save up for the heels, and find an amazing look alike for the dress! That’s what I am going to do.

Looking forward to restarting my DIY dining room project again tonight. Last night’s progress, I completed over half the table!

Hello everyone! I’ve missed you and my blog. I had to rework the back end, no visible changes yet, but there will be.

In my last post I mentioned I had just moved and was in the middle of redecorating, one of my favorite pastimes! I am doing the craziest designs yet.  For instance, the second picture down is my inspiration for my dining room chairs. Yep, feathers! I LOVE glamour, I’m single, not a DROP of testosterone in the house. : )

Have you ever thought of using boa feathers for a valance? Or how about crystal curtains? And the best idea yet, putting a thin line of swarovski crystals along the base of a dining room table. Am I crazy, maybe, personally I think eccentric is the word. Can’t wait to share the DIY pictures.

My two favorite purchases this week happen to be from my favorite haunt, White House Black Market.  This tier sweater was just so soft and feminine, and with the draping, it made a statement. SOLD … The wedges were a natural go to, and the shorts have just enough length to sit with comfort.



I also ordered this Maxi Skirt, it’s perfect for Arizona weather. A white silk top, paired with my wedges above and I’ll have another one of my favorite color schemes to wear, white and tan. Adore the crisp and clean lines of the two,  pop on my lavender Minkoff bag, and I’ll be set for the day!

Victoria’s Secret is seriously one of my favorite places to shop online. Always the 80′s ROCKER Chic at heart, so I will never conform to the norm!

Edgy, sexy, and feminine are what I tend to lean towards. With that being said, ummm I am over 40, sooooo I have to be cognoscente of that when selecting outfits. And that is why I love VS. Not only can you find fun and flirty, but you can actually find garments with just enough cover-up to be appropriate!

The pants above are so comfortable to lounge in, and when I’m poolside it gives me a great option to wear with my bathing suit top. I paired it with the t-shirt {second pic}, to complete the flowy & billowy look.  It works!

After a long weekend, some of us take more time to get back into the routine of life. Lovely dinners, with champagne kisses close off this Memorial Day. And now it’s Tuesday, back to reality.

Luxurious linens and breakfast in bed, after fun filled weekends is the best. Just enough time to reflect of moments spent with family and friends you cherish.

With our lives so busy these days, I feel it is important to take the time for ourselves. Even if it’s only for an hour, just enough to secure your thoughts and compose your future dreams. One of my favorite times of the day is when the lights go off and all is still and silent. I usually have a candle burning on my bedside table and my drapes open to gaze at the stars.  The peacefulness of a candlelit room, the flicker of the flame against darkness is so soothing.

It’s now time to blow this candle out.

My Inspiration

I have long been a fan of a website called shopwildthings.com!  In my last home I purchase several glitzy and glamour pieces for my closet.  Yes, closet…(long story)…  anyway, for my current townhouse I wanted to add some of the same glamour, but this time I decided to incorporate the look in my living room, stair well , bathroom and on and on……

I’ve taken a few pictures around the house to give you a glimpse into my crazy style!

My interpretation, I wrapped the beaded garland around the top. This picture was taken at the beginning stages of decorating  when I moved in last September.  Of course several of these spiral chandeliers look amazing hung  together, but in a home?  I thought one looked perfect, it’s seven 7′ long and makes quite a statement.

After I completed the decorating … this is how it turned out

Then I hung beaded curtains for more glitz!

I also used crystal beaded  garland to wrap a mirror in the bathroom

around a vase, I filled with flowers

I couldn’t stop there, so then I found this fabulous sticky back swarvorski crystal tape at JoAnns and you’ll never guess where I put it!  Ha… yep around the top of my microwave……after all you can’t forget to decorate the kitchen…you’ll never see a rooster in my home!  lol

And finally some Bling Water, to bring the look together… ah yes there’s more, but I think you get the picture……….
