Daydreaming or day-tripping? Always a dreamer, or so I’ve been accuse of. Gorgeous pictures to get lost in and have a little dream yourself! Of late I’ve often thought of a seaside cottage where I can write, blog and tweet. Three of my favorite things. The dress in the first picture is what I would wear while sipping cappuccino endlessly in a hammock while reading a juicy book to get lost in.

    Happy Wednesday Luvs….

Honeydew Lime Popsicles, I live in Arizona, what can I say, it’s HOT here!

    Honeydew Lime Popsicle Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 1 (3-4lb) ripe honeydew melon, peeled, seeded, and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
    • 2/3 cup fresh lime juice
    • 5 ounce Dixie cups
    • 20-30 Popsicle sticks

    Directions

In a small saucepan, heat water over medium/high heat, add sugar and continue stirring until completely dissolved. Let cool.

In a blender, add your melon, lime juice and syrup and blend until smooth. Carefully pour mixture into your 5 ounce Dixie cups, filling 2/3 of the way.

Place in the freezer for 30 minutes (set your timer), insert your wooden sticks, and continue to freeze until the popsicles are completely frozen, about 6 hours.

When you’re ready to enjoy, cut and tear the Dixie cups off of the popsicles and voila, enjoy! see image below

    Makes about 20 popsicles

    Have an AH-mazing weekend luvs!

So what do you think of this Chic look,  I think Jennie Garth pulls it off perfectly.  And for those days when your hair is having a mind of it’s own, it could be just what you need.  My two favorites are Jennie’s and Maria’s, the first and last picture.  For me I need a little height on top otherwise I just feel like I didn’t do my hair!

Are you going to experiment with this so called new style?   And how perfect would these looks be for SUMMER.

Whether you dress the LOOK up or dress it down, find your own style of braid which looks best on you and give it a try!

    Springtime L’Amour….

    April 5th, 2010

Is their anything more beautiful than Spring?   New beginnings, cool breezes, and flowers.. . . after falling for the wispy fabrics and pleated chiffon in erin fetherston‘s recent autumn/winter collection, was reminded of the enormously beautiful bouquet of pink peonies on the sun-drenchedjuliet balcony of her paris apartment, and how bright blossoms never fail to make everything feel like spring . . .
